Working in HDTV is exciting, however HDV's heavy compression and limited 1440 x 1080 resolution can cause promlems with video quality and editing. Connect to Anything (Decklink Studio only)
DeckLink Studio includes highest quality 10 bit SDI video combined with enhanced analogue connections to support a massive range of video equipment. DeckLink Studio includes fully independent connections for SDI, analogue component, S-Video and composite video. Both the SDI and analogue component connections auto switch between SD and HD, plus there's an extra SD SDI output via a built in hardware down converter for when you're working in HD. When you're working in NTSC and PAL, you can use the SD-SDI output as a key output! Also included are a massive number of audio connections, with 4 channels of balanced analogue audio, 8 channels of SDI audio plus 2 channels of AES/EBU digital with sample rate converters. Hardware Down Converter

When working in HD the built in down converter lets all video outputs remain active in both capture and playback mode, and in all HD video formats! Interleaved allows the left and right eye to be combined into a single frame so you can edit 3D using your favorite editing software! Dual stream is also fully supported in DeckLink HD Extreme 3D using the dual SDI and HDMI 1.4 connections for capture and playback of two full resolution video streams for left and right eye into two separate media files. Dual stream 3D allows the highest quality 3D possible because each eye is captured as an independent full resolution media file, although is often less compatible with current editing software. It also includes connections for 4 channels of balanced audio and 2 channels of AES/EBU. Analogue audio outputs 3 and 4 can be switched to provide 4 extra channels of AES/EBU audio out.

Quality is full 10 bit, so it's a true professional solution. The built in up, down and cross converter works at full 10 bit with highest quality multi-tap filtering. Now you can edit once, and master out anywhere!
